HSE Manager Contract

Role – HSE Manager

Location – Rome, Italy

Day Rate - €​650 all in day rate

Based at a client site this role requires a sound understanding of the dynamic nature of managing construction health and safety to ensure that all works on the client site comply to the necessary health and safety legislation including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. Working closely with the client, the HSE Manager will control and manage the Management Systems ensuring that standards are upheld at all times and all required documentation and statutory inspections are in place and complete.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards throughout the manufacturing facility construction process.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols, policies, and procedures specific to the construction site to mitigate risks and hazards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential safety issues and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Conduct safety training and orientation for all construction personnel, emphasizing proper equipment usage and emergency response procedures.
  • Monitor and assess the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure workers are adequately protected.
  • Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or near misses, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and safety training documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Health and Safety Management experience working on Data Centers
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Full driving license.
  • Hold an EU Passport to allow ability to work in the EU
